To view larger images, visit Lane Crawford Exotic Animal Sculpture Exhibition photo gallery at the 2009 visual arts projects Hong Kong Youth Arts Foundation website. This is the note from Lane Crawford:

Lane Crawford and YAF have teamed up to provide an exciting opportunity for young people to create interesting artworks for Lane Crawford’s summer window display. Led by local stylist & make up artist May Sum, 20 teenagers designed fashionable and exotic patterns that will be used to decorate wooden sculptures in the shapes of elephants, giraffes & zebras.

The teenagers will need to master the skill of acrylic painting and stenciling to revamp a series of 5 to 7 feet tall animals, giving them a stunning new look, and taking viewers on an exciting exotic voyage!

By displaying young people’s artworks at prominent locations such as a Lane Crawford store, young people can be given the confidence to be creative and bold as well as have their artwork recognized.

A true inspiration!
