Pelita Raya Free-to-use Images

Pelita

Pelita or panjut are oil lamps that are lit during the days before Hari Raya to attract spirits and angels to descend and bring blessings to people’s home during the night of Lailatul Qadar as traditionally believed. Other than ketupat, pelita is also a synonymous symbol with Hari Raya Festival. In Indonesia, Malaysia and other South-east Asian countries, it is sometimes called pelita raya or pelita hari raya.

The free images of pelita below are not lit but of course you csn add an artificial flame on it using Adobe Photoshop or any other graphic design software. These images were shot in a white background so that it would be easy for you to incorporate them into your design.
