The Creativity Window Logo Design Process
You have witnessed how The Creativity Window has started and how it is developed. Today, we are bringing this blog to another level.
I would like to introduce to you the NEW logo of The Creativity Window and some changes that will happen in this blog.
The former logo of The Creativity Window was only roughly done based on the elements that represent this blog but after few months of plotting TCW’s identity in trial and error method, the branded logo is done. It is a palette which is formed like letter “C” with a paint brush and a symbol of window on the body of the palette. These symbols are chosen because TCW aims to become an inspiration of the visually creative people in the retail industry. Window, as a vital part of retailing and palette for the right-brained ones.
The logo was changed but it still carries the concept of the old TCW logo, yet, as what I have mentioned, the new one has more branding touches.
It is time to say, “Bye, bye.” to this former logo.

The Creativity Window New Logo
The palette is formed by making an ellipse on an A Series drawing board in which four point of ellipse touches the sides of the drawing board then it was carefully aligned on the certain perspective point to create a perfect tilt.

The hole of the palette where the thumb is to be inserted is a circle which diameter is 1/16 of the width of the whole logo. The concave on the side of the palette (see image below) is 1/16 of the size of the original ellipse being tilted to form a palette.

The brush is produced by removing a part which height is 7/16 of the height of the whole logo from ellipse which similar to the palette, flipping it horizontally and resizing until it fits to the area intended for the brush.

The name, “The Creativity Window” uses a modern font style which tracking are customized. The horizontal and the vertical layout of the logo are shown below. There is a standard distance between the title and the logo itself. There is also the monochrome version of the logo.

Some Changes at the Creativity Window
1.) From a dark green outer background, it is now light grey to let the visitors read the text even before the whole site is completely loaded. Although I like the former color of the outer background, the visitors of this blog is still more important so I have to switch. The set of social sharing buttons are now found at bottom of the post; only face like button is now placed below the post title.
2.) For the past few months, this blog has become very generous on giving you free-to-use images for download and the result is quite good. The photos from this blog that are offered for downloading could be found in different places both online and offline and because of this, I will be offering you more useful images which you can use as an element of your poster and other marketing media. Every week, there would be at least two photos and graphics that will be posted here in more organized manner. The collection will include backgrounds, templates, seamless white background photos, retailing symbols and icons and much more.
These are only some of the changes and you have more surprises to expect.
Thank you for reading. Godspeed!
