Crepe Paper Art and Recycling on Summer Display
We are always trying to make cheaper display for every special occasion without sacrificing the beauty of the project, and we have found out that paper and recycled materials are cheaper among others to work with.
This one of our display which uses paper and recycled materials.

The mannequin is wrapped with green crepe paper and her hat is also covered with crumple pink crepe paper with fancy green ribbon out of the same material.

This woven basket below won’t be firm as it is if there is no plastic cylinder inside. The cylinder is a damaged spin dryer of a washing machine, while the fiber ball has crumpled paper inside.

This is the big flowers out of old posters which I have shared to you few weeks ago. If you have not read the tutorial on how to make them, you can learn it from HERE.

Do you see that stand of the crepe paper topiary? It is a very expensive crystal but now it has no more value because its grim was broken. Instead of crashing it down, it was given to us for the ‘Art’ sake. By using it as stand of the topiary, the crystal has acquire new value.

The large frame is also an old material which only beautify by wrapper it with a new cheap paper. Some print outs are added to make the display more lively.

Thank you for viewing and reading. Godspeed!

my sis also used crepe paper for the hanging decors for her kid’s 2nd birthday party. sometimes you need not spend a lot on trimmings and accessories; just being creative with used items and cheaper materials would do.
