Truth or Hoax: NASA predicts total blackout on 23-25 Dec 2012 during alignment of Universe
Are you ready for the doomsday?
Last year, we were alarmed by the story about the prediction of Nostradamus and the ‘Maya calendar’ which tell that the 21st of December 2012 (21-12-2012) will be the end of the world. This is because according to the stories, Galactic Alignment is predicted to happen on the mentioned date.
Today, I have read a story that circulating on social media about the so-called prediction of NASA in relation to the 2012 phenomenon.
NASA predicts total blackout on 23-25 Dec 2012 during alignment of Universe.
Where the sun and earth will align for the first time.
The earth will shift from the current third dimention to zero dimention, then shift to the forth dimension.
During this transition, the entire Universe will face a big change, and we will see an entire brand new world.
The 3 days blackout is predicted to happen on Dec 23, 24, 25 during this time, staying calm is m0st important, hug each other ang PRAY.
NASA America predicts total blackout on Earth from 22-25 Dec 2012 during alignment of Universe.
If possible, please avoid traveling during the third week of December 2012 as all modes of communication may fail.
US scientists predict total darkness on planet earth for 3 days from Dec 22 2012. It is NOT the end of the world, it is just an alignment of the Universe, where the Sun and the earth will align for the first time. All planets are expected to align in a straight line as a result of which there could be some natural calamities on Earth. The earth will shift from the current third dimension to zero dimension, then shift to the 4th dimension. During this transition, the entire Universe will face a big change, and we will see an entire brand new world. The 3 days blackout is predicted to happen on Dec 22, 23, 24, 2012…. So do good be good live for the present enjoy life.
According to hoax-slayer.com, “Not surprisingly the claims in the message are complete and utter nonsense. NASA has made no such prediction. Nor has any other credible scientific organization anywhere else in the world.”
“In what is apparently an utterly lame attempt to make its outlandish claims seem more believable, the message links to a video featuring NASA administrator Charles F. Bolden, Jr. In the video, Bolden does talk about family preparedness but makes no mention of planetary blackouts, universe alignments or even shifts to the zero dimension,” hoax-slayer.com added.
This is the video the website referring to,
In other words, there is nothing so important with this circulating stories.

a prediction about world black out day is reported by discovery channel on facebook. Is it true?I shall be highly obliged if you kindly inform me the answer as early as possible.
Hello Srimoyee, if it is true that the blackout was reported by Discovery Channel, you can read it in the front page of Yahoo and even different news websites. I cannot find any official and reliable report about it.
What actually Discovery Channel presented was the documentary about Mayan Calendar and 2012 Phenomenon.
Actually, 2012 Myth is already debunked.
Consider this paragraph from history.com:
“This sort of popular culture conception of the Maya calendar having an expiration date on it is in and of itself a fallacy,” Saturno said. He compared the system to odometers that reset to zero after 99,000 miles because they can’t display more than five digits. “If we’re driving a car, we don’t anticipate that at 100,000 miles the car will vanish from beneath us,” he said. Stuart said that, rather than covering a finite period of time, “the Maya calendar is going to keep going and keep going for billions, trillions, octillions of years into the future.”
