Hi, I’m Jyppe A. Quidores, blogging about but not limited to visual arts especially on their application to retailing with emphasis on (1)visual merchandising, (2) graphic design, (3) product photography and (4) creative display to inspire the beginners in the field, and help improve their skills to become more effective in producing creative and innovative designs and other visual art projects.
I prefer to share my ideas to the newbies because I know than I can share a lot with them than those who higher level of experience than me.
The Creativity Window touches variety of topics about (but not limited to) graphic design, visual arts and creativity which are commonly helpful for retailers and other individuals from different creative fields especially the beginners.
Every now and then, a new free-to-use high resolution image which is useful for graphic designers of the retail industry is published and can be downloaded via The Creativity Window. These free-to-use images include variety background, graphics, seamless white background items and more. Most if these images are in-lined with what are commonly used graphics and photos in Retail industry.
More free stuff like Adobe Photoshop brushes, patterns and layer styles, PDF files, office digital documents and public domain images are and will be also available to download on this blog.
The Visual Merchandising Category of this blog is dedicated to the tips and ideas on how to stimulate customers’ perceptual and emotional response through aesthetics and other elements of retailing and on the career advancement of visual merchandisers. One of the topics under this category that find to be more interesting is the window display.
This blog also offers bonus visual arts resources about home and office decoration, arts and crafts for kids, visual aids ideas for teachers and other enjoyable creative stuff for everyone.
I am print design and visual merchandising specialist. I work to provide creative and innovative graphic design and other visual arts solutions for retailers.
Making display props, setting up floor and window display, designing effective print designs – ranging from a small signage to a large vinyl wrap, doing product photography and maintenance of the visual impact of the store where I am currently working are only few to mention my present responsibilities.
I hold a Bachelor of Secondary Education – Mathematics Major from Davao del Norte State College, Panabo City, Philippines with five different Leadership Awards and I am continuing my study on Product Photography, Copywriting and Retail Management with emphasis on the impact of visuals to the shoppers.
Consider me as versatile, frugal, innovative and creative.
• Little Secret About My Name
I used the spelling J-A-Y-P-E-E from preschool to 1st year high school, until my teacher in 2nd year high school noticed that the spelling of my name in my birth certificate is “J-Y-P-P-E”.
My professor in English Communication course in college pronounced my first name as /jīp/, which sounds like Skype, hype, pipe and ripe. My professor in Developmental Reading also pronounced it differently. He pronounced it as /hip/, like hip, tip and nip. I prefer to hear and use the first pronunciation.
To avoid problems in terms of legalities, I was instructed to follow the spelling on my birth certificate and I do so, but my nickname remains as JP. This is the reason why my user name in social media is ‘jpquidores‘ and the profile name is Jyppe A. Quidores – the A stands for Alcon.

• My Blogging Venture
I started entering the blogosphere since July 2010 and have created many blogs as effect of my excitement in blogging until I have found my niche after few months of hopping from one blogging platform to another and writing anything and everything under the sun which I felt good talking about.
Though I have a little regret of having not a very good start in blogging, my learning from that experience is already a very good pay-off, and now I have the joy to maintain The Creativity Window.
I look forward that this blog could help you in any simple way.
